Cooler weather and the changing of the seasons bring excitement
for small project and renovation work around our property. Since the 2016
tournament schedule has ended, we’ve started small projects over the past month
improving play-ability and aesthetics while also preparing for aeration across
all playing surfaces to setup our turf for next year. I feel we had another
great season on the golf course, but also know the work ahead to continue
improving the product and pushing forward my vision. Over the next few weeks,
we will continue the process by budgeting, planning, and purchasing for next year
along with the renovation of playing surfaces ensuring this operation continues
to progress. We’ve also planned for a Green Committee Meeting, Saturday Oct. 29
at 2:00 p.m., to discuss the 2016 success and failures, this winter’s
off-season plans and the Club’s goals for the Green Department going into next
year. On behalf of my crew and the Green Department, thank you again for all
your support this season!
