GREENS:
  • **March 3/28/16 – ½” Hollow Tine Aeration w/ Heavy Topdressing (5%)
  • *May – ¼" Vent Tine w/ Sand Injected Dry Ject to 6 in. depth
  • *Monthly (May to July) – ¼” Solid Venting Tine (no removal)
  • ***August 8/15/16 or 8/22/16– ½” Hollow Tine Aeration w/ Heavy Topdressing (9%)
  • ***November 11/1/16 – ½” Hollow Tine Aeration w/ Heavy Topdressing (14%) and/or 2mm Sand Inject Graden (13%)

GOLF COURSE UPDATE
·         Mowing Heights: GRNS .115, Tees/Collars/Approaches .375, FWYS .400, Step-cut 1”, RGH 2.25”
·         Mowing Schedule: Greens-daily and double rolled unless weather dictates otherwise Wed./Fri./Sat./Sun., Tees/Approaches/FWYS Mon./Wed./Fri., Rough/Bunkers-twice throughout the week
·         ROUGH DEBATE – GREENSPEED DEBATE
·         No issues with playing surfaces due to stress or mechanical damage heading into August.
·         Aeration on-schedule and will continue to pursue 20 to 25% surface area disruption according to ISTRC testing performed.

2016 FALL PROJECTS (IN-HOUSE)
·         Tee re-leveling #17 white, #18 white, #2 left black/white.
·         Continue with bunker sand removal and replacement all fairway bunkers.
·         Addition of Nursery Green behind #3/#15 and screened out by fescue.
·         Improve contours in fairways and green expansion areas with additions and subtractions.
·         Improve and expand practice area with tree removal, bunker rebuild, and fairway expansion.
·         In-house drainage installation at chipping area approach (driving range).
·         Continue with property cleanup including tennis area, parking lot, and shop improvements.

PROPOSED PROJECTS
·         GOLF COURSE –Cont. Tree Maintenance Plan for 2016/2017 late fall to winter: In/Out House.
·         GOLF COURSE- Tee Complex Construction #11 (In-House) and #12/#14 (Out-House).
·         PRACTICE AREA- New synthetic surface for driving range mat w/ re-leveled and re-grassed.
·         PRACTICE AREA- Rebuild bunker at Chipping Green with the addition of more fairway height for longer pitch and run options.
·         LANDSCAPE-Area behind and left of #7 GREEN planted w/ 5-7’ Cedars to screen out maintenance dump and service road.
·         LANDSCAPE-Move and relocate trees from golf course to specific areas on property.
·         EQUIPMENT- Lease packages have been built to address current concerns while updating our fleet of deteriorating equipment.
·         BUDGET- Equipment and Resources to continue to improve the Club’s biggest asset.
